Location
2 hours drive north of Cairns, an unspoilt part of Australia where the Daintree Rainforest meets the Great Barrier Reef. Some of the most magnificent beaches are in this area and the rainforest has an abundance of diverse fauna -cassowaries, bandicoots, tree kangaroos, forest dragons and many more. The road through Daintree is sealed and stretches 36km with this property being 18km into the Daintree.

Rooms
Cabin style accommodation, scattered in the rainforest with air-conditioning, ceiling fans and louvered windows with fly screens. There is also a balcony, coffee / tea plunger and mini bar. En suite bathrooms. There is no TV reception in this region.

Von Cairns auf dem Captain Cook Highway in Richtung Mossman, durch den Ort hindurch bis Sie das Schild mit der Aufschrift "Daintree Township/ Daintreee River Ferry". Links und etwa 25 Kilometer lang auf dieser Straße bleiben. Sie sehen dann ein Schild mit der Aufschrift "Daintree River Ferry/ Cape Tribulation". Weiter bis zur Fähre und mit dieser überd den Fluss setzen. Auf der Turpentine Road erreichen SIe nach 19 Kilometer das Schild "Heritage Lodge". Die gesamte Fahrzeit beträgt etwa 2 Stunden, wobei der Weg sehr gut ausgeschildert ist.
