Tram number 4-9-16-20-24 & 25 will bring you from The Central Railway Station (Amsterdam Centraal) to the stop closest to the hotel (diagonally across the street) 'De Munt' in a short five minutes.
Schiphol International Airport can be reached within 25 minutes by car or public transport. Tram, bus and the KLM airport shuttle stop in front of the hotel.
Coming from Zaandam (The Hague / Schiphol Airport Amsterdam) A10; direction Den Haag Exit number S106 At the end of the exit turn left, direction 'Centrum' At the 3rd trafic lights you turn right, direction 'Centrum' Across the bridge you turn left, driving down the "Overtoom" At the end of the "Overtoom" you turn right onto the "Stadhouderskade" At the 2nd trafic light you stay on the left lane When you pass the Rijksmuseum on you right hand side, you turn left at the 2nd trafic lights. You are on a roundabout (Weteringcircuit) Go straight on, going down the Vijzelstraat The Albus Grand Hotel is located at number 49

"Very nice hotel with spacious rooms and great beds. The staff at the reception was very helpful - especially Patricia :-) Breakfast was full and excellent, but beware - you are kindly told at 10 sharp (10.30 on weekends) to finish your breakfast and leave the breakfast room. Very interesting to notice people's reactions - those who showed up at 9.55! The location is fine - close to "lively" areas, close to the Opera and close to shopping areas. The hotel is facing a rather busy street, so remember ear-plugs if you are "allergic" to traffic noise." - Pia Labohn |
