"This is a student hotel so you get what you would expect. The corridors are hard-wearing rubber rather than carpet but our room was quite large. We were on the top floor with a balcony and views right into central Vienna: lovely.
The room was quiet but had two single beds despite being advertised as a double. (I suspect all beds are singles.) We found the mattresses to be fairly hard. (Ask for an extra pillow if you don’t sleep flat.)
Staff were friendly but yes, as others have observed, use the European system of keeping your key when you go out. (Being from Australia I’ve never understood why they do that.)
Breakfast was OK without being anything special. Bread and rolls were fresh and tasty. Coffee was a bit ordinary.
