"The Avenue hotel is in a very good position, it is only a 5 min walk from central station and very close to the main shoping area and Dam square etc. The hotel is kept clean and the staff were very polite and helpfull, the only downside to this hotel is that the rooms are very small but i think this is due to the fact that the hotel is made up from a row of propertys knocked together. In all i would recomend this hotel as a good base to explore amsterdam." - Anonymous |

"Excellent location near to station. Breakfast is excellent setting you up for all day. Although there is no Restaurant for an evening meal, the sister hotel Belle Vue (nearby) does have a first class Brasserie where you can get 10per cent discount and although it is more expensive than other eateries in the area, it is well worth a visit." - Brian Ward |
