Bruny Island is accessed by a vehicular ferry which departs from Kettering (30 minutes south of Hobart). The scenic ferry ride takes appoximately 15 minutes. From there, follow the main road to the south of Bruny Island (a picturesque 45 minute drive) to the township of Lunawanna. Once at Lunawanna, you will see the signs to "Explorers Cottages" located on lighthouse road, on route to the famouse bruny island lighthouse and South Bruny national Park.
