Mint Resorts & Apratments- Carmel by the Sea provides recreational facilities such as indoor heated pool and spa, sauna and steam room, gymnasium, heated outdoor swimming pool as well as a tennis court.
From Coolangatta Airport - turn left onto the Gold Coast Highway and follow the signs to Broadbeach. Carmel By The Sea is located on Old Burleigh Road on the Corner of George Ave and Anne Ave. From Brisbane Airport - Follow the signs to Gold Coast and take the Southport/Surfers Paradise exit. Follow signs to Broadbeach. Turn left into Hooker Blvd off Gold Coast Highway, Carmel by the Sea is on Old Burleigh Road on the corner of George Ave and Anne Ave Broadbeach.

"There were a number of maintenance issues in our apartment:
- when we checked in, three light bulbs did not work. These were eventually fixed, but we had to report the problem twice.
- Several of the doors and windows were very difficult to move; two of the windows could not be opened at all.
- The washing machine did not work properly - on the standard setting, it would not complete the cycle.
- The plug for the kitchen sink was missing. We managed to salvage one from the bathroom.
Against this, the location of the apartment, and its overall design, were superb. We would go again, but would make sure we inspected the apartment thoroughly and reported maintenance concerns on checkin." - Anonymous |

"Very disappointed with apartment that was dirty and very outdated. Bedspreads were putrid and obviously never been cleaned. Dishes dirty, washing machine and dryer old and left clothes with a terrible smell. Room smelt like urine when you entered front door. No remote for tv and dvd player locked so couldn't be used. Badly needs to be refreshened with cleaner furnishings. Resort is rated 4.5 stars but I wouldn't even rate it a 3. Definately would not recommend to others to stay there." - Simone White |
