Casa Vaiven Buenos Aires
Owned by a young Argentine woman, Casa Vaiven occupies an old converted warehouse in a quite area of San Telmo. Although there are only five rooms, the communal area (complete with TV lounge, foosball and Internet) is huge. Three of the five rooms are ensuite , Two rooms share a bath and all are straightforward yet comfortable. Four of the five rooms are on the 2nd floor and open onto a small balcony that overlooks the interior. There's a fully equipped communal kitchen and a comfy TV area. One of the best things about the place is the feeling that you're getting something the rest of the foreigners in touristy San Telmo are missing: the dilapidated and atmospheric side streets near the barrio (neighbourhood) of Barracas. Although it's only blocks from the heart of San Telmo, the tourists never make it here. If you're planning staying in BA, CasaVaiven is an excellent alternative.
Our rates includes taxes and breakfast.
