Location
The resort is set on 1200 metres of private beach, which combines with a 238-berth luxury marina overlooking the Arabian Sea. It is just a drive away from Dubai's newest shopping malls, Mall of the Emirates and Ibn Battuta, as well as the award-winning Emirates and Montgomery Golf Courses.
Rooms
On a personal comfort level, all of the 211 bedrooms in the property contain state-of-the-art facilities. Most of the rooms have balconies with patio furniture and glorious sea views.
Restaurant
Le Meridien Mina Seyahi Beach Resort has eight vibrant restaurants offering superb international cuisine, catering for all tastes.
General
The conference centre overlooks the Marina, whilst the outdoor amphitheatre offers an exciting and unique location for product launches, gala dinners, weddings, and open-air concerts, accommodating up to 5000 people. Recreational amenities include five outdoor swimming pools, including two shaded children's pools. Additionally, the resort offers a health club, gym, aerobics studio, sauna, steam room, SoleSenses by Clarins spa, and Penguin Club. A variety of water sports are also available including sailing, deep-sea fishing, water-skiing, kayaks, banana boat and windsurfing.

"I think the hotel is overpriced, as neighboring 5 star hotels which are brand new are cheaper and nicer. Rooms at this hotel are average, bathrooms are very basic, and have no character. "We're a couple of Aussie retirees who spent 3 days in Dubai on the way back to Oz from Paris.
Le Meridien Mina Sehayi is a five star hotel that lives up to its rating. Our package was for breakfast and one other meal, which we enjoyed enormously. The Buffet in Waves Restaurant had great quality and variety.
The room had excellent views of the beach and top class presentation, plenty of space in the room. There was a free bus to the Mall of the Emirates shopping centre severat times a day, very convenient. (The Mall of the Emirates is where Ski Dubai is.)
Dubai is a big construction site with more cranes than you can poke a stick at and heavy dust pollution that makes Beijing look like a clear view. At least it's dust, not smog. Hard to see the view over the Palm Frond Marina out our window.
Highly recommended hotel well worth the cost. Make sure that you direct your taxi to the Mina Sehayi, there is another Le Meridien hotel not far away, which is also reportedly very good. " - Anonymous |
