"Chris and Paul on the Information & Customer Tour Booking Service were absolutely great. The food was very good in the resturaunt and not to badly priced. The staff in the main were helpful but sometimes looked as if a smile wouldn't go a miss. The room my wife and I stayed in would have benifitted from another chair as television was watched at all times from laying on the bed. The Room Service attendants weren't as attentive as they could be when we tried to to comply with the hotel request to "save water" by requesting fewer towel/bed linen changes by insisting to change towelling daily when we were prepared to help out in that area. All up, we enjoyed our stay at the hotel and would go back again and would not hesitate to recommend to other visitors to Melbourne. Thanks Mercure Hotel Welcome." - David Badcock |
