"The toilet (Room 214) only worked intermitedly & would not fill properly.
At 8 am we had NO hotwater for showering & were told basically that everyone had probably used it up!!!! We complained bitterly & due to a cancellation we were moved to 412 where we had a toilet that worked & hot water at any time.
Other guests mentioned the lack of hot water when we were around the pool area & they had realised that the lower the floor no. the less hot or even warm water was received.
We were also told that the only hotel on the Esplanade strip that always had hot water was the [other hotel] & that all other hotels on the strip had bad plumbing!" - Anonymous |

"A request to extend the check-out time from 10 to 11 was bluntly refused on the grounds "we are too busy". When we checked out at 10 am sharp there was not a single housekeeping person to be seen on the whole floor. A little more flexibility would have been appreciated." - Walter Uhlenbruch |
