2 hours drive north of Cairns, an unspoilt part of Australia where the Daintree Rainforest meets the Great Barrier Reef. Some of the most magnificent beaches are in this area and the rainforest has an abundance of diverse fauna -cassowaries, bandicoots, tree kangaroos, forest dragons and many more. The road through Daintree is sealed and stretches 36km with this property being 18km into the Daintree.

Cabin style accommodation, scattered in the rainforest with air-conditioning, ceiling fans and louvered windows with fly screens. There is also a balcony, coffee / tea plunger and mini bar. En suite bathrooms. There is no TV reception in this region.

Desde Cairns, coja la Captain Cook Highway North (es la only carretera principal directa). Siga las indicaciones hacia Mossmann (todo recto). Una vez en Mossman, atraviese la ciudad y verá una carretera que sale hacia la izquierda indicando "Daintree Township/ Daintreee River Ferry". Gire a la izquierda y siga esta carretera durante unos 25 km. Gire a la derecha cuando vea una indicación "Daintree River Ferry/ Cabo Tribulación". Siga esta carretera hasta el ferry y cruce el río con el ferry. Una vez atravesado, está en Turpentine Road a la izquierda. Hay un gran panel "Heritage Lodge" en la esquina. Estamos a 700 metros en turpentine Road.
