"Good location for visiting Santiago, close to the metro and walking distance to Providencia. Very clean, friendly staff, however it looks like a Sheraton anywhere in the World, ie. zero local character.
The one thing that was extremely frustrating was the the staff constantly treated one as being stupid and quoted everything in US dollars. I constantly had to ask for prices in Chilean Pesos. In addition the concierge tried to book one on far over-priced tours and wasn't too helpful with reservations when I wanted to take the bus to the Concha y Toro vineyard, which was perfectly feasible and a quarter of their price.

"The staff at the hotel were very welcoming and helpful. The buffet breakfast was excellent and there was always lots available.
The area was very pretty with trees along the boulevard to shade us from the warm sun. The mountains in the background provided an excellent view from our window. We were close to the restaurants for an evening meal and close to the subway for easy access to the rest of the city, and only 20 minutes from the airport.
