"Hotel is old, but has great character. Ask for an end of corridor room. We got one and its quiter. The location is superb, all the sights are within walking distance of the Hotel. Complimentary drink on arrival is a very nice touch. Breakfasts were plentiful. Hot bacon & eggs, and then breads, cereals, cheese and ham etc. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Number 2 bus from Airport to Mirabell Platz takes about 25 minutes, hotel is then a 5 minute walk. We bought the 3 day Salzburg Card for 37 euro, and used it for attractions and transport that would have cost over 80 euro. Buy at bookstore in airport. Great system, great place." - John Kelly |
