Comfort Star Hotel Phnom Penh 
"The people there were very good to us. They have free Internet access for guests. The free "American breakfast" was not at all American, but it was free. So if you like rice or noodles, you'll be OK; but no peanut butter, pancakes, or fruit. Overall, though, we were very satisfied with our stay at Comfort Star. " - Anonymous

"We stayed at the hotel in May 2008 and found it a long way out of the main tourist areas of Phnom Penh and required transport everywhere. There were 4 of us (2 being our local sponsored girls) and I had to appologise to them for the poor standard of the hotel for their first stay in a hotel. Both of our rooms were ones with NO windows and not at all nice.
The rooms had breakfast included and on arrival they gave us vouchers for 2 or the 3 days that we were going to stay there. The vouchers for 2 days did not cover the very basic meal that we had on the first day.
We left after 2 days and moved on to a better hotel.
Opposite the hotel is an entertainment venue where all the young people go. (This did not cause us any problems.)
We would NEVER stay there again or recommend it to anyone." - Brian FOX
