BY BOAT:
- In the comfort of high-speed air-conditioned catamarans, Blue Ferries allow you to really relax during your trip from Shute Harbour on Australia's mainland to Hamilton Island. All Blue Ferries arrivals are met by Hamilton Island staff at Hamilton Island's Marina and transferred to their accommodation.
- A direct launch from Shute Harbour to Hamilton Island takes 35 minutes.
A launch from Shute Harbour to Hamilton Island via South Molle and Daydream islands will take one hour. Tickets can be purchased from Jilly's at the jetty in Shute Harbour before you board the launch. Last service 4.30pm.

"The only thing that dissapointed me about Palm Bungalow's was the house keeping. Our room was never swept and the bathroom never cleaned. We got new towels everyday which was good and although the bed was made everyday, i'm not so sure that the sheets were changed in our entire stay.
Otherwise, the location is fantastic, only a short walk to the beach and the resort facilites (which are great) and a slightly longer walk to the marina.
I do reccommend that you hire a golf buggy while you are on Hamilton Island - much fun!" - Vanessa Cassar |
