A 3.5 star 31 rooms unit with a good mix of family, double and spa rooms located within a short walk to Queanbeyan city centre and opposite a lovely park. The motel is run by a family and is thus able to give a very homely atmosphere and excellent personalised service.

The motel is located a short drive of about 15 minutes to the centre of Canberra city and most of its attractions like the Parliament House, old Parliament House, National Museaum, War Memorial, Telstra Tower, Cockington Green and the many other attractions of Canberra.

The annual Floriade flower show is just 10 minutes from the motel. The Parkway Motel is ideally located as a halfway stop from most locations to the Snow fields which is some 2 hours drive from here. The South Coast is hour and half away.

The motel staff can help with making arrangements for bus tours of Canberra as well as the locations of the attractions and the best times to visit these.

The motel has recently gone under new management and is being completely refurbished. For the benefit of the younger guests and parents who feel upto it, board games are available for hire to entertain you late into the night as well as bicycles and helmets and roller blades are also avaialble for hire.

The motel is within the Queanbeyan city precint. Driving in from Canberra on Canberra avenue, take a left turn on Antill St (next to Police Station), a blue motel sign located here. From the bridge end into Queanbeyan, a right turn on Antill St, where the statutue is.

It is a short walk from the Queanbeyan bus stop and a short taxi drive from the train station in Queanbeyan. Or the owners are happy to pick up from the Airport or the train station. There may be a charge for this service depending on the time of the day and staff availability.
