Location The Airotel Parthenon Hotel rests just below the Acropolis' rock, the most significant archaeological site in Greece. Around Acropolis, lays Plaka, the oldest and most picturesque quarter of Athens, with narrow streets, low houses, neoclassical mansions, traditional taverns, nightclubs and tourist shops. All these are located just a short walk from the hotel. Rooms With sense of professionalism and sensitivity, the hotel offers you hospitality in one of the 79 tailored and bright rooms of the hotel, which have all the comforts for a relaxed and pleasant stay. Restaurant The hotel offers a cozy bar and a restaurant with fragrances and flavors from Greece and the world, to suit all tastes. Your coffee and drink becomes a real escape at the Parthenon bar, which is situated in the atrium of the hotel, vested with beautiful plants. General The conference room is where will find the ideal place for meeting business associates in a warm, informal atmosphere.
Parthenon Hotel is about 50 minutes away by taxi from the Elefhterios Venizelos Airport and the fair costs approx. 20 euros. Alternatively, take the Subway from the Airport towards the terminal Monastiraki. Get off at Syntagma station. Then take the red line towards Agios Dimitios and get off at the Acropolis Station. We would not recommend you to use a car since the location of the hotel (Acropolis) has been transformed to pedestrian precinct and it will be very difficult to find a parking space (parkings are very expensive in the area) but if you insist, take the Attiki odos motorway towards Elefsina and then take the exit No 11 (Kiffisias) towards Athens. Then follow the Kiffisias Avenue which turns to Vassilisis Sofias Avenue and then turns in to Vassileos Constadinou. Turn right at Vassilikos Olgas Avenue and then left to Vassilisis Amalias Avenue. The hotel is located on your right hand at the Dionisiou Aeropagitou pedestrian precinct which leads to the Acropolis.
