"The Ambassador is certainly not top of the range a little rundown fifties interior), but for the money it offers a decent service, spacious room, friendly staff, bottles of water everyday and a free safe for valuables). The breakfast staff is a little disoriented but there are plenty of breakfast opportunities nearby. The real strong point is its location at easy walking distance of the Alameda Park, the Zocalo and two metro stations. So if you aim to reconnoitre Mexico City and want cheap lodging of decent quality the Ambassador is a good choice." - Anonymous
