"The Bayside Motel Melbourne is the worst accommodation I have ever stayed at. I was there with my three children and the venue was unsuitable for families. It was dirty, the mattresses and pillows were rock hard, it was right on a tram line and was very noisy all night. There was a lot of noise from people fighting and swearing out on the street. There was no lift and carrying the heavy suitcase up stairs was difficult. This hotel would probably be suitable for young people who have had a big night out and need a place to crash for the night. "This hotel is in an excellent central location, but being right on St Kilda road it is also very noisy. The facilities were reasonable but there is no servicing of rooms unless you pay an extra fee per day. It is a very basic room, adequate, with a fridge. Good for a short stay." - Liesl Barnett |
