By Train / Public Transport:
Shanghai Railway Station is situated 3km from the hotel. Taxis to the hotel from the railway station are charged at RMB 12.
Take Shanghai Metro Line 1 from Shanghai Railway Station and get off at South Shanxi Road. Take Maoming Road and walk for 2 minutes. Take a right turn to Changle Road and it is 2 minutes walk to the Jin Jiang Tower on 161 Changle Road.
South Shanxi Road Metro Station is situated 200 metres from the hotel. Taxis to the hotel from the station are charged at RMB 10. It is only 5 minutes walk from the hotel to the South Shanxi Metro Station.
By Plane:
Pudong International Airport is situated 48km from the hotel. Taxis to the hotel from the airport are charged at RMB 150. Journey time: 50 minutes.
Scheduled Pudong Airport shuttle buses are available to and from the hotel.
Hongqiao International Airport is situated 14km from the hotel. Taxis to the hotel from the airport are charged at RMB 35. Journey time: 20 minutes.

"Jin Jiang Tower was one of the 1st 5 star hotels in Shanghai and is well known and easy to find by Taxi Drivers, just be sure to specify Jin Jiang TOWER or NEW Jin Jiang (XIN Jin Jiang) or they take you to the origianl and famous Jin Jiang Hotel which is part of the same complex but a long block's walk to the tower. Hotel price is a little highbut acceptable considering the excellent location 1 block from Huahai Central Rd and a few blocks to the nearest Metro. Check-in staff appeared to look stunned, dazed and confused with all formalities being drawn out and tedious (not unusual in any China hotel). The breakfast is expensive and dreadfull, better to avoid and find a coffe shop in Haihai Rd. Rooms are slightly tired but relatively modern and clean.
