Location
Situated on the beachfront of the beautiful Palm Cove, the Melaleuca Resort is located in Cairns Northern Beaches and just a few steps away from many restaurants and shops. The resort is just a 20-minute drive from Crains as well as the airport.
Rooms
Set amidst the lush award winning tropical gardens, the 24 self-contained apartments are equipped with all the modern comforts. Each apartment offers a private balcony, from which you can sit back and watch the waves lap at the seashore.
Restaurant
Guests can prepare their own food at their kitchen apartment. Enjoy a quiet cocktail in the gardens before going out to dine at some of the finest restaurants Australia has to offer.
General
At leisure, you can enjoy a rejuvenate treatment at the spa or have a refreshing dip in the swimming pool. In addition a parking area is available onsite for your conveniences.Melaleuca Resort has a tour desk where experienced staff offers a tour booking service.

"Accomodation is basic but adequate and very central (not that anything is particularly far away in Palm Cove). The female manager (I've forgotten her name) was extremely helpful - we were travelling with a young child so had a few more requests than normal. The pool is in the shade which would be good in the heat of summer. Use of the pool is a bit more limited during the time we went (September) but the beach was lovely so this was not an issue. "My mother and I (38yrs) stayed (Feb 2008) in a medium sized one bedroom apartment over looking the ocean, mere meters away from the beach; 35 minute drive south to Cairns. Melaleuca Resort is a great place to stay with a gorgeous tropical garden and a relaxing pool. The apartment was clean, comfortable, appealing and well equipped for our week's stay. Coles supermarket is only 3 kms drive away which was handy as the local restaurants are bit over priced. The owners/managers(?) Margaret and Steve made us feel very welcome. Would definitely stay there again!!! One point, it lacks an internet service (handy to find out info on local attractions) but i am sure that will be rectified in the near future. Palm Cove is fabulous but Go now before the 7 star Palm Cove Resort opens in 2009 when i think businesses in Palm Cove will increases their prices." - Barry Graham |
